Co-curated by Marina Oechsner de Coninck and Clémentine de Forton, as part of Voilah! French Festival and in partnership with the French Embassy in Singapore.

📍 Venue: JW PROJECTS GALLERY, Singapore

NATHALIE AUZEPY – PHILIPPE CALANDRE – BENJAMIN DEROCHE – MYRIAM DE LAFFOREST – ARMELLE KERGALL – HELENE LE CHATELIER – NICOLAS LEFEUVRE – YAN LEI – LENA NIKCEVIC – HONG WAI

An immersive and theatrical experience that unites international actors from the European and Asian contemporary art scene, photographers, painters, and sculptors, with the utopian environment serving as a stage set for their creative inspiration.

An exhibition co-created by Marina Oechsner de Coninck and Clementine de Forton in collaboration with the French Embassy of Singapore during the Voilah! Festival.

More than 30 works will be exhibited for the first time in Singapore, offering visitors a sensory experience that transcends all disciplines and cultures, centered around environmental surrealism and abstra1`ct exploration. This expression of surrealism aims to be plural, like a floating world between reality and utopia, playing with forms, perspectives, and transparencies. The artists present us with breathtaking creativity, staging cities, landscapes, and humanity.

The transparent sculptures of Myriam de Lafforest and Nathalie Auzépy contrast with the islandic inks by Nicolas Lefeuvre, the Land Art photographies of Benjamin Deroche, the trompe-l’œil landscapes of Hong Wai, and the brutalist visions of Singapore by Philippe Calandre.

Helene Le Chatelier and Armelle Kergall’s works explore the interactions between memories and dreams. The exhibition opens up new horizons. It unfolds like a theatrical and poetic story that allows us to deconstruct in order to reconstruct and imagine.

At the time of green-tech and fast-pace evolution, we are looking for investors willing to commission projects to create a unique sculpture park. In Singapore, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Brussels how do you imagine your environment and living space through the eye of the artists?

“I believe in the sacred combination of art that offers both intellectual stimulation and emotional resonance. I believe in those works of art that linger in our minds and invite inner dialogue. Art is alive; it inspires, guides, exalts, and provokes where we least expect it. A successful work of art reveals hidden aspects of our psyche and leads us toward greater awareness.” – Clémentine de Forton
