HÉLÈNE
AVEROUS
Deeply inspired by the culture and spirit of traditional Chinese and Japanese paintings, Hélène paints what nature whispers to her. She trained under Lim Choon Jin during her 10 years in Asia before returning to France in 2016.
From her very first exhibitions in France, she quickly achieved success with a broad audience deeply moved by the poetry and sensitive strength of her paintings. She realized the power of art to convey what cannot be expressed in any other way but through the magic of silence.
A truly inspired artist, Hélène distinguished herself during her most recent solo exhibition, “Encre Ciel et Terre”, in 2024, captivating a diverse audience. Nearly all fifty works exhibited were sold, demonstrating the exceptional enthusiasm her work generated.
Today, she is an emerging artist whose works, profoundly imbued with the spirit of nature and Eastern philosophies, seamlessly align with contemporary art.
She is now part of the artists represented by the Ermitage Cultural Fund, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and chaired by Martine Boulart, Officer of Arts and Letters. She is also a member of the International Chinese Calligraphy Art and Ink Painting Society.
