⭐️ I am deeply moved by the depth and the poetry of Hélène LE CHATELIER 's art work. It is with immense gratitude that we welcome the evolution of her new series in our upcoming exhibition, "Utopian Drama" in Singapore.
At the core of her creations lies the heart of humanity: its identity, its invisible vulnerabilities, its neural resonances, and its delicate relationship with a world in constant — and sometimes brutal — transformation.
Her works embracing sculpture, photography, installations, are sensitive experiences, at the crossroads of art, science, and memory.
👉 Inspired by her collaboration with Professor Virgile Viasnoff (Mechanobiology Institute of Singapore – CNRS), Hélène has integrated lab-based techniques into her artistic approach. In the series 'La Disparition', presented during the successful exhibition "What Doesn't Kill Us", a sculpture literally dissolves — transforming into a surreal landscape, a poetic metaphor for the silent erosion of identity under the weight of trauma and unseen ruptures. The result is fascinating (Pic 2)
👉In What Will Be Left From Us? (Pic 1), we encounter the faces of children and teenagers in Singapore, layered with natural elements resembling neural networks. Between ecosystems and human identity, the series raises a fundamental question: As we reshape our environment, what do we make of ourselves?
This powerful work honors the younger generations — weavers of the future — and calls for a shared sense of responsibility.

The fascinating Suntec City series, from which this image by @philippecalandre is taken, will be shown for the first time this May in its country of creation: Singapore.
In this series, Philippe Calandre reinterprets Singapore’s iconic buildings, by deconstructing their forms through photography. A series commissioned by the Alliance Française before the pandemic and unveiled for the first time at "UTOPIAN DRAMA" exhibition with @voilahsg festival and @franceinsg Embassy
His minimalist, raw, and powerful photographs reveal the architectural heritage of the city-state, capturing the balance between modernity and experimentation.
Through his lens, the city of the future is no longer just about infrastructure and technology; it becomes a living organism shaped by social life, connectivity, and governance. His works strip urbanity of its artificial layers, offering a minimalist deeply aesthetic vision of ever-evolving metropolises.
Keen-eyed viewers will recognize the DUO Twin Towers, designed by Büro Ole Scheeren, now reimagined in this surreal vertical composition.
